Day 12 - hosting of the Project 365 moved!

I had to move the hosting of my 365 project to a different platform. I have now included it as part of the blog on my website. I hope not to create any inconvenience to all four... 261 who follow me. One of the better things on the new platform is that it is built in my website and you can hang out there all day, much easier, as opposed to always having to decide whether you keep two windows (or tabs) open, one for my website and one for my project and moving from one to the other eagerly waiting for my updates. Secondly, the images are much bigger and can see them with better details. Since this is a learning experience (both for photography and for html tweaking, posting, etc.) I expect glitches here and there. Hopefully everything should flow alright and there should be no problems from now on. Make sure you use this feed to get the posts in your RSS reader. As such, this will be the last post on blogger. I figured it was time to play with the strobes. Forgot about the setup shot. One umbrella camera right, 580 ex 1/8, 1/30 1.4.

day 10 - rotten pumpkin

This thing's been sitting around the house for a few good days and with as much rain as we had, it began to rot. It lost it's beautiful smile of Thanksgiving and now it just grins with fear of the fate it awaits. Sticking that candle inside it and popping a few flashes at it tonight and was probably the most fun this thing has had since we carved out it's brain.

This is the setup I used today in the park for a bunch of free portraits. It was an interesting experience. A bunch of people stopped by, a bunch of people ran away. Well, not really... but they politely declined.
